Colin's face contorted. He wished to take his words back. But the cloaked man before him had warned him. The man's lips curled backward, and right then, Colin knew he was doomed.

"Her... her s-soul?" he asked for clarification, praying to all that was holy that he heard it wrong. Desperation was evident in his eyes.

"By some worst luck, is your hearing impaired? Werewolves like you are supposed to hear from miles away, and I'm standing right before you, yet you make me want to repeat myself," the man said, his voice sounded like a sound that was coming from the deepest ocean. It was heavy, and most definitely, bone-chilling.

Colin blinked, he then he swallowed hard. It is evident to him that the cloaked man was having fun seeing him regret his decision.

"Isn't it too much of you to ask for my Elinor's soul? She is the mother of the twins you saved," he said, pleading. If the cloaked man would ask him to grovel down his feet, Colin would do so without any second thoughts.
