24. A Date Full of Revelations

So much for having a lovely evening and putting that idiot out of my mind - now he’s even here at my date. I’d recognise that side profile anywhere; Elijah is currently sitting a table over from me with the type of woman I could never dream of being.

I couldn’t concentrate at all with him being so close to me, and halfway through, I had to excuse myself from the table with the excuse of needing the loo.
