Violet's POV

"Why wouldn't you stay away from Jake?!" Emily questioned with menace laced in her voice.

"What are you talking about?" I was confused. She had never brought this topic up before. I had no idea where this was coming from. We were just in the prom party and she dragged me into this forest.

"Then and now, you always covet my things. Are you that jealous of me?" She continued, confusing me even more.

"Look Emily, let's go back to the party. We can talk this over tomorrow." I sighed before turning to leave, when Emily dragged my hair from behind.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I questioned angrily.

"You are wrong with me. Always getting in my way. Only when you die will all this end" I struggled to get her hands off my hair, but surprisingly, she was too strong. The Emily I knew was a feeble girl with a weak wolf, but this Emily was strong like a bull, hellbent on separating my hair from its roots.

I finally freed my self and gaped at her with disbelief.
