Chapter 23

I was sluggishly sleeping like a baby as I felt something moving around my ear. I thought I was dreaming, which is why I felt and heard a soft whisper.

"Wake up; I have good tidings". The voice roars in my ears. Still, I thought I was dreaming.The sensations and feelings continued. I couldn’t take it anymore. I dashed out of the bed as I hit my ear with my hand out of fear.

"Cockroach, oh my God". I screamed, jumping out of bed. I hate cockroaches. I held on to the wall.

Ethan was laughing abruptly at me.

“You are the scariest person I have ever seen, "he said to me.

“I’m sure I felt a cockroach around; it was roving around my head." I suddenly remember the whisper: Do cockroaches talk? I shake my head in doubt.
