I miss you

Earnest pov

I sat up, remembering those kisses. I could still feel her lips on mine—the gentle pressure of my mouth against hers. It had been so brief, but it had felt like a lifetime. The memory of it was so strong, I could almost feel her here with me.

I dashed my eyes closed. I can see her.

"It was real, wasn't it? She said to me,

"That night, when we kissed." I looked at her, and it felt as if she was close to me. Still imagining, her expression is unreadable.

"Yes, it was real." I responded to something I thought was real. "It wasn't just a dream." She nodded, her heart swelling with emotion. "I've never felt anything like that before," she said. "I've never felt so alive, she yelled out. I was pulling the covers tighter around her. "Me neither," I said softly. I came and sat down next to her, my eyes searching for hers.
