I waited for him to come

my silk nightgown.I kept glancing at the clock, impatient for nightfall.

I had missed him so much that I felt lonely in this big house. I needed him so badly. Finally, the sun began to set, and the room was bathed in soft shadows. I took a deep breath and turned off the lights, letting the darkness envelop me. I felt a surge of excitement as I waited for the knock on the door. I couldn’t wait to see him.

The minutes seemed to drag on forever as I waited for his knock, because right now I can feel all of him around me. I tried to distract myself, looking out the window at the stars that were starting to appear in the darkening sky. I flung myself into the bed as I closed my window.

While lying on my bed, the window banged open, rattling the curtains. Filling the room with cold air, I stood up from my bed, seeing how the window banged open.
