Chemistry

Ben was on his way to his office when he bumped into someone. She fell and the paper she was holding fell. She immediately got up to pick them. Ben wanted to yell at her but, she stood up and slowly tucked her hair behind her ear.

"I'm so sorry" she said. He blinked repeatedly.

"No, I'm sorry. It's my fault" he said, when he knew it was totally her fault.

She smiled weirdly.

"Thank you. I'll be on my way now" she said and wanted to leave. He stood right in front of her, stopping her from leaving.

"I'm Ben" he said.

"I know who you are, I'm Gwen" she said.

"Gwen, beautiful name. You seem young to be working here" he said.

"I know, I'm just an intern. I need to get a job before college" she said.

"Oh, of course " he said

She chuckled softly and peeped at her wrist watch.

"I need to go. I'll be late" she said and rushed to the elevator, pushing the button.

"Where can I find you?" He yelled as she ran away.

"Um...the planning department!" She yelled and entered the elevator. B
