Jeric loves going to the market as he prefers to personally buy all the things he needs whenever he decides to cook for their meal.

The market was near the territory of the Night Walkers Pack. Although there's a big chance that he will see Lany there, he was still surprised when he saw her. She was buying some meat from the vendor where he was also going.

Lany was also surprised when Jeric suddenly got near her. She just acted normal as he smiled at her. She also smiled back at him, although it was a forced one.

They were surprised when they immediately saw the wide smiles of the vendors there who've known them as they saw them smiling at each other.

"We're happy that you came here, Alpha Jeric and Ms. Barnes. It's been a long time since you came here together," one of the vendors said. "We're still hoping for the both of you to be together again. Since you're smiling at each other, does it mean that you're already okay?"

"W-We're not okay yet, to be honest with you. It's just a coinc
