"You told me that you're going to give me my parents and let us live together quietly if I stab Alpha Jeric with a poisoned dagger," Lany said in a hard voice again when she heard no answer from Mondrei.
Mondrei faced Lany with his serious face. But even before he could answer her, she immediately spoke again.
"And I also didn't forget what you said that you never broke with your words," Lany continued.
"Yeah, I said that and I'm going to keep that, Ms. Barnes. So, don't worry," Mondrei said when he got a chance to speak.
