The Promise

Dylan got drunk that night. It was Lany and Chadrick who took care of him and they brought him to their house.

The sun was already high when he woke up the next morning. It was already hitting his face, so he got up immediately. He immediately looked around and felt a little embarrassed when he realized that he got drunk and noticed that he was inside someone's house.

A few moments later, he saw Chadrick approaching him.

"You're already awake, Dylan. Good morning," Chadrick said while smiling as he approached Dylan. "Get up and have breakfast with us."

Dylan just nodded in response. Then he looked at the time on his wristwatch. He was a little surprised to see that it was already nine o'clock in the morning.

"Is it just me who got drunk last night?" Dylan asked as he faced Chadrick.

"Yes, Dylan. You were the only one who got drunk last night," Chadrick immediately answered while still smiling. "Let's go and have breakfast together. Edlyn was cooking in the kitchen."
