It'd been three days since my last run in with Noah. After he'd disappeared right after blocking me, I hadn't seen him again. My broken door was literally replaced the next morning,but he didn't tag along. He didn't ask any message be delivered to me either. I was even expecting a snarky remark from the guards at least, I got nothing. They just did their job and went by their way peacefully, like the were never here in the first place.

Zoe was in some kind of mourning state ever since that day. She spoke up and we always had our conversations but she felt hollow, I could feel it too. We both felt like we'd lost an important part of us we never knew we needed, Noah and his wolf. I was doing fine without it, whenever I started to feel empty in my chest all I had to do was picture Noah's smug smile and the hell he was putting me through and that would do the trick. In a matter of seconds, that empty cavity would be filled with rage for that pompous prick.
