Maya starred at Xavier displeased.
He has been acting so cold and like a total Jerk towards her since she came to work, and she was beginning to get uncomfortable knowing it has everything to do with last night.
He had replaced her phone which he had destroyed last night with the latest available iPhone model. She had stubbornly refused to take it initially, but he had coldly told her it wasn't a request or a present she could turn down or accept but an order.
He also referred to her with her full name and spoke to her in monosyllables, and he did that only when necessary.
She groaned on the verge of losing it, almost about to tell him to his face that yesterday night happened and Yes it was a mistake but it did happen so he should get over it and stop being a dick.
She couldn't stand his cold
Xavier closed his laptop frustrated. It was no use pretending that he was working. He hit his hand against the mahogany table, its sturdiness and hardness agitating him the more like a mocking reminder, a silent taunt. That's what he was supposed to be, sturdy and hard so why couldn't he stop thinking of a particular brown eyes fragile petite woman he thought. "I shouldn't be thinking of her." He whispered as he fisted his hand to his side, a universal sign of weakness he thought scowling. He didn't have a problem if he was thinking of how she appealed to him physically, though that was a mystery that he couldn't wrap his hand around yet. Because a month ago, he could confidently say that she was nothing he wanted in a woman. He preferred his women quiet, humble, and obedient. But, she was s
Maya waited for them to enter his makeshift room, banging the door behind them but they didn't. She starred at them wide-eyed as Skylar sat down on the desk knocking some items in the process. She was giggling. She felt so dirty and angry knowing that two days ago she was in that same damn position, screaming his name with his mouth on her. A part of her wanted to run away, pretend like she didn't know her boss was about having sex in his office. That they didn't even care that she was watching them, that she didn't see him fisting his hand around her hair while he tongue kissed her. But the challenging look in Xavier's eyes stopped her and kept her rooted to the spot. He wanted to prove something to her, she didn't know what, but she wasn't planning on looking away. If Skylar felt any discomfort knowing that his office was quite visible to
Maya dropped the hair stretcher on the sink examining her handwork on the mirror. Her hair was straightened out flat and let to fall without restraint. Her lips were covered in red lipstick, she also applied mascara on her lashes. She starred at her short leather skirt, a bit skeptical about her choice of clothing. But remembering she was going to a club, she decided to indulge a little. Her red crop top helped balance everything out, she reasoned. It was a turtle neck and she wasn't showing off her cleavages at least. She was internally grateful that the girls had gone out with some girls at work, else they would have certainly remarked on her dressing and be curious to know who she was going out with. The last thing she wanted was her housemate's malicious matchmaking, she love them so much
"I am taking you home," Xavier informed her. "I am not going anywhere with you." she vehemently replied with so much bitterness and venom in her voice that hurt him. Even though he wouldn't dare admit it. She hated him even when wasted. "Oh but I am so taking you out of here." He retorted grabbing her hand. "No I am with Tyler," she stated stubbornly trying to free her wrist from his grasp. "Go with him, Maya," Tyler whispered. She stopped in her tracks making Xavier narrow his eyes at his brother suspiciously wondering why Maya was even listening to him. He shrugged amused. Her brown eyes were full of so much trust and concern for his motherfucker of a broth
He looked at her frustrated. How could she compare herself with Skylar, his kitten was damn smart, fucking intelligent, beautiful, sexy, and yet for some fucked up reason he couldn't grasp, she wanted to be Skylar? "I do sound pathetic if you are desperately trying to butter me up. But I am not that damn tipsy yet." She whispered Accompanying her statement with a peal of dry laughter as she placed her hand on his chest for support. "I don't know about pathetic, but I am damn angry with you." He draped his hands around her waist securing her around him. She sighed smiling sadly. "That's all you feel when you are with me." No, I get horny, confused, intrigued, weak, he wanted to reply but he couldn't because he knew she won't believe him since he has been a fucking douchebag since he met her.
"What do you mean by that?" She calmly asked despite how sweaty her hands were becoming and her frenzied dizzying heartbeats. He chuckled wickedly, placing his hand on her waist. She eyed were his hand were warily and directing her gaze towards him, she glared at him. "I can sue you for sexual harrasment Mr Xavier." She threatened. He frowned for a split second then doubled over in fits of laughter. "Well that was definitely not what you were saying last night." He whispered. Maya tipped her chin defiantly. "If that will be all sir, I will take my.." "I just want you to want me." He whispered interrupting her mid sentence. He smirked watching her reaction to his statement, the confusion in her face as his words sounded familiar to her amusing him.
Son? Maya thought realizing she was in the presence of the infamous Mr. Dominic Salvador... Xavier's father. The familiarity of the later features now makes absolute sense to her. He was just an older version of Xavier physically. The same striking blue eyes, the schooled poker face, the sharp jawline and dimples, the same aura of respect and intimidating presence they possess. Though the only difference was that when Xavier stare at her the way Mr. Salvador was now, the former made her feel hot and bothered. While the latter made her sick in the stomach but yet she couldn't deny that Xavier was a splitting image of the man, who going by the rumors he hated. He grinned at Xavier Making him frown. He knew that look in his father's face and he will be damned if he allowed that bastard anywhere close to Maya.
He sighed. "Can't you ask for money? A hundred dollars? A thousand?..." "Deal or no deal?" She asked impatiently. "Deal." "Good." She whispered smiling. *** "What?" Maya asked at her wit end. Jasmine and Jessica has been giving her suspicious glances. She had expected them to come out with it already but they didn't even seem remotely ready to voice out what was on their mind. Jasmine sighed, done keeping quiet. She frowned and then walked towards Maya with her fliflops that made weird screechy noises that amuses them but this night was way different, nobody smiled. "Shouldn't we be the one asking you that question?" She asked sitting next to Maya. "So much has changed about you over the past few weeks and you are not willing to share what is really h
