I didn’t even have the perfect explanation to describe all the series of events that have been happening in this house ever since Mae broke her neck and was now confined to a wheelchair.

It was just so weird that a single fall from the stairs broke her neck and her legs.

Marcel, after finding out that the triplets intentionally made the tiled stairs slippery, talked to them and tried to limit their video games but it seemed more like things even got worse between the triplets and Mae.

If someone wasn’t complaining about being pinched, then Mae was either complaining about the triplets teasing her. I knew that the triplets were quite obstinate but I never knew that they could be this mischievous.

At the same time, I knew that all of this wouldn’t be happening consistently if someone wasn’t triggering that reaction from them.

Seeing Mae’s call, I switched off my phone because I knew that it was another call that was made in a bid to report the triplets. I leaned forw
