Chapter 107

Mary glanced at the strange number, wondering who it might be. This was a very rare occurrence; she hardly gets contacted on her business line. Apart from her coworkers and boss, she couldn't really think of any other person who could be in possession of the number.

She narrowed her eyes as she thought hard about who it might be.

"Pick up your call, Mary," one of the nurses urged impatiently as they were all eager to know who was calling.

"It might actually be Dr. Alexandra. Think about it; she just made a shout-out to you a few minutes ago. She might want to place a call to get in touch with you directly," the doctor explained convincingly.

Mary thought about it for a second. How possible could that be? She had never communicated with Dr. Alexandra using her business line.

As far as she could remember, Dr. Alexandra was one of those who only has her personal line. She had also memorized Dr. Alexandra's number, and the one displaying on her screen right now was definitely not hers.
