In the hospital room, Jessica's phone suddenly rang, causing her expression to sour as she glanced at the screen. Since her mother, Rebecca, was napping, Jessica chose to step outside to take the call. With a determined stride, she left the room, pausing for a moment to contemplate before finally answering the phone.

"What's going on?" she inquired sharply.

Nicholas hesitated briefly, taken aback by her tone. Her continued hostility startled him. He began to wonder if Sonia's suggestion about Jessica's involvement in the situation held some truth.

"Was it you? Did you leak the information to the media?" he interrogated. Jessica removed the phone from her ear and gazed at it, perplexed by his accusation.
