Justin promptly cleared his throat and fixed his indifferent dark eyes on his father. "Nothing, father," he uttered. Turning to his desk, he settled into his chair, raising a brow as he asked sarcastically, "To what do I owe this visit?"

His father's presence wasn't a shock; Justin had anticipated it, half expecting an earlier arrival, maybe even right after yesterday's meeting.

Mr. Hemsworth drew back the chair behind Justin's desk, settling into it while maintaining an unbroken gaze with his son. Their eyes engaged in an intense, silent competition, as if surrendering the stare meant conceding defeat. Justin, resolute, had no intention of backing down, and neither did Mr. Hemsworth.

In a hoarse tone, Mr. Hemsworth inquired, "Tell me the truth, Justin. Are you certain you haven't identified who sent assassins after you?"

Justin drew in a deep breath, lowering his head before meeting his father's gaze once more. As anticipated, his father intended to take control of the situation.
