Chapter 51

Arthur was seated on the sofa, still trying to contact dawn. She still hasn't been answering any of his calls, or text. Arthur guessed it was because it was late and she was asleep so he stopped calling.

'How does Dawn know my mom?' Arthur thought to himself. The fact that she knew his mom, even though he never told her, made him suspicious.

"You're still awake?" Amber's voice startled Arthur. He raised his head to see Amber, walking down the stairs.

"Yeah." Arthur replied, flashing a smile at her. Regretting the way he acted when he got home earlier. It was so unlike him to ignore people.

"Having a hard time sleeping?" Amber, took a seat next to Arthur. "I can't seem to fall asleep too." She grabbed the remote off the glass table and turned on the TV. Sitting back on the sofa, Amber looked at Arthur and she asked: "So what were you pissed about earlier?"
