Jeff's eyes lit up, "You are going with me?"

Bethany answered yes.

"That's great. I'll pick you up then." Jeff put down the apple and stood up.

Bethany nodded, "Okay"

After he left, Barbara picked up the apple he just put down and put it back on the plate "It's so nice of Jeff. He even invites you to attend his friend's wedding!"

Bethany nibbled on the apple, "Actually, I'm not interested in other people's weddings at all. I'd rather he asked Roseanne or Erica instead of me."

Barbara said, "I don't know if you are really stupid or pretending to be stupid. You're sensitive to your feelings for Zayn. But why do you turn a blind eye to what Jeff does for you?"

"Huh?" Bethany blinked confusedly, "Donnie,what are you saying? I cannot understand."

Barbara rolled her eyes, "Nothing, it's better if you can't understand. If you understand it, I'm afraid that you and Jeff can't be friends anymore."
