Chapter thirteen

 "Hello. I would like to speak to Hilton if you don't mind." I said. 

"Sorry but that's not possible. You see, Hilton won't be able to speak to you from now on." The voice said. 

It was then I recognized the voice to be that of Hilton's father. 

"How can this be sir? I asked you for Hilton's number but you gave me yours instead." I said. 

"You will never be able to reach my son again. Now he can finally be successful without you disturbing his life. He has traveled abroad and you will never see him again." Hilton's dad said. 

"But... What have I done to deserve this?" I asked. 

He didn't answer. He just cut the call.  

I felt so shattered. Hilton is my best friend. How could his parents be against our friendship?
