Confrontation with a stranger

/Selene’s POV/

“Do you know those people?” She questioned and I acted dumb, but she glared at me hard.

“Nope, we’re just seeing them for the first time,” I answered and she bobbed her head after thinking it through.

“Can we start going, I’m sick of this place already.” She complained and I laughed because I knew she was afraid to take up so she wouldn’t trip over anything that would make me laugh at her.

“Or because you’re afraid that you will trip over the furniture or something?” I narrowed my eyes at her and she grinned making me confirm that I was right.

“Maybe, but I have a feeling that I should start going to my workplace now.” She confessed and I bobbed my head and looked around thinking if I forgot something of importance, I opened the small black bag that June gave me, I searched for my phone and was relieved when I saw it.

“Yeah, let’s go, I need to sleep. I’m exhausted, I’ve been used by you.” I told her and she flipped me off while exiting the apartment.
