Chapter 23. My kiss marks are visible

That morning was the most agonizing shower I've ever had in my life. Every time I touched every inch of my body, it was as if I could feel River's touch there too, just like last night when his hands and lips brushed over my body. Every time I close my eyes as the shower hits my face, a visual of River also pops into my head.

As I stepped out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around myself and headed to walk-in closet to get dressed. I couldn't help but wonder what River was thinking about. Had we crossed a line? Was this just a one-time thing, or would it change the dynamic between us?
