Jealousy

I heard a woman's voice from the other line. I can't explain my feelings at that time and asked myself who is this woman?

"Hello, who is this?"she asked.

"You? Who are you?" I asked back to her.

"I am the only wife of the owner of this cellphone. Where is my husband?" I asked firmly.

I was surprised when the woman on the other line suddenly laughed. Was there something funny in what I said?

"Why are you laughing? Is there something funny in what I said?" I asked her flatly.

"Wife? He never mentioned to me that he has a wife," he answered.

"What right do you have to doubt what I said? Where is my husband?" I asked her angrily.

"I am Mr. Ransom Crosby's girlfriend.

He didn't have a wife that was introduced to me,"she answered.

"Well, I will introduce myself to you. I am Mrs.Crosby. I am his only wife and we have a child," I introduced myself.

It took a few seconds before the woman spoke and simply laughed so I got even more annoyed with her.
