Luther Tells His Luna About Whitney

LUTHER'S POV

I let go of Jaya who was in my arms as I saw Liza's blood spattered on the sand. I was filled with horror and anxiety. All of a sudden, my knees felt weak and I sat on the ground staring at Liza's blood.

Fear gripped my heart and I prayed she shouldn't die. Although Liza provoked me and Jaya, I knew it was my fault.

If I had apologized to her when she demanded an apology, perhaps, her anger would have abated and I would have just found a way to get Jaya's contact and left with Liza and go back to join my friends. I will then later reach out to Jaya without Liza knowing.

On second thoughts, when Liza was insulting me and Jaya and she broke from my arms and rushed at Liza, I should have held her back and shouldn't have stood watching Jaya beat Liza.

Whichever way, I took all the blame for letting the matter escalate which has ended in tragedy. Now the deed has been done and there is nothing I can do than to hope and pray that Liza doesn't die or has brain damage.
