Luther's Father Tries To Convince Him To Change His Mind

LUTHER'S POV

Two weeks after the hullabaloo in my mother's room, I was in my room sitting on a chair and working on my laptop which was on top of a desk. It was on a Saturday when I don't go to work.

As I was working on the laptop, I suddenly stopped and stared into space as my mind drifted to a week ago when my father called me on the phone and summoned me to his house. That day was on a weekend and it was in the evening.

I recall when I entered his room, he was sitting on the bed and was clad in a pair of shorts and a singlet. After greeting him, he gestured for me to sit on the sofa facing him.

After I sat down, he gazed at me for some seconds as I stared back at him.

"Luther, I summoned you here because of the altercation we had in your mother's room a week ago. I told you then that I was going to summon Martin to tell me the truth about Whitney's pregnancy and I also told you that I am going to summon Janet to interrogate her," he said.
