WHITNEY'S POV

We all left the conference room and entered the living room. There was no one there. Dad was in the front, followed by Martin and mom and I was the last.

We went up the stairs and walked down the hallway as we headed to dad's room.

We all stopped in front of dad's door as he opened the door and we all entered. Dad and mom sat on the bed while Martin and I sat on the two chairs in the room facing them.

For a moment, there was total silence in the room as they all gazed at me and I felt uneasy. Dad and mom were looking at me with impassive faces while Martin was glaring at me.

My heart was racing and I could hear the sound of my heartbeat pounding in my ears. I sensed they were all going to force me to agree to abort the pregnancy. I felt helpless in their midst like a sheep amid hungry lions.
