As I gazed at Alpha Vicker, he was wearing a sad expression and seemed to be lost in thoughts.

I wished at that moment to take away all his sorrow. He is a good man that deserves the very best. Unfortunately, life is never fair.

I thought about his past relationships that he told me about and I just couldn't fathom why any lady would date him and be giving him problems. They must be very foolish to lose a man like him.

Considering his striking good looks, awesome personality, status, and wealth, any girl that he dates should consider herself fortunate cos his types are very rare.

Well, it's a good thing that he broke up with them cos if he had chosen one of them as his mate, there would have been no hope for me. It is the loss of all the ladies and it is my gain.

Now Sophia is the only obstacle on my path and he has said he will soon break up with her, so, all I have to do is to be patient. But the big question is, for how long will I have to wait?

I wish I
