Elizabeth's POV continuation

I was stunned for a moment. Consciously, I immediately pushed Lucian.

"There's a different tint in your eyes. You're wearing lenses."

I wanted to hiss. He doesn't even miss small details.

"So? My eyes are blurred. I need to wear one. Is there a problem?"

"Hmm... nothing," he said but there was a dark undertone in his voice.

He walked out of the row of tents. I quietly followed until I saw the staffs handing out food to the people. I smiled a bit when I saw their genuine smiles. They looked very happy with the simple food they received.

I looked at the young man nearby who was having a bit of a hard time handling his food because he had a cast on one arm.

His disposable untensils almost fell. Fortunately, I got close and caught it.

"If you don't mind, can I help you?"

He looked at me. I smiled a little when I saw the twitter in his eyes. I thought he didn't understand it. So I repeated the question in Burmese, but he cut me off.
