Aubrey's POV

"T-thank you aubrey! I love you!" Leion happily promised to almost jump to where he was standing, then he hugged me and kissed the side of my forehead so I closed my eyes.

"Promise. I won't waste this last chance. Goddamn it! I'm so happy" leion was happy while his smile didn't know where to put it.

His smile was almost up to his ear as he stared at my face and caressed me.

"Promise. I promise. I will never trade you for anyone" he said smiling then kissed me on the nose and quickly kissed me on the cheek.

"Tomorrow morning I'll pass you" he said then someone took it from his pocket.

My ring that I left when we were on the ridge.

My engagement ring and wedding ring.

But this time it was on the necklace and the two rings became a pendant.

"It would be better if you wear it again. But I find it better if I just give it to you" he said then put the necklace on me and held me to the cold metal on my chest.

It was as if a thorn had been pulled out of my chest and kept hurting.
