Chapter Thirty Five

I clenched my teeth, my determination solidifying. "I promise, Ashley. I won't let them harm you. Just hold on a little longer. We're working on a plan to get you out."

Marcus's voice boomed in the background, interrupting their conversation. "Time's up, Matt. Remember, I'm watching your every move."

The line went dead, leaving me with a mix of desperation and renewed determination. Shit! I am going to kill this bastard! I screamed.

I looked at Leo, who had been silently listening in, his expression grim.

"We don't have much time," Leo said, his voice laced with urgency. "We need to move fast. I have gathered the pack. They're waiting for us at the rendezvous point."

I nodded, my eyes burning with determination. "Let's go. We can't waste a single moment."
