Chapter 37

  At the same time, Emily was taking her two kids home.

  Chris was in a good mood because Aaron wasn't around to divide Emily's attention, while Diane was carefree.

  The next few days were very peaceful. Emily felt the urgent need to have a competent assistant. She interviewed several people, but she was not satisfied. None of them was good enough.

  Today, she came to the café downstairs alone while still thinking about the company's project.

  She looked out of the window aimlessly and noticed a familiar figure.

  She saw a hobo on the street. His clothes were shabby but clean, and it was obvious that he was trying to maintain his decency, which made him stand out among other hobos.

  Emily stopped stirring her coffee. "Is it him?"

  She traced him back in her memory.

  She knocked on the window, and the hobo looked up at her. He was confused at first, but then it seemed that he recalled who she was. He took a few steps forward excitedly, but he stopped after looking at himself.
