“THE REASON why all of us are here is to brainstorm, and you’ll leave early because you’re going to think of a solution alone?” Sapphire raised a brow. “Sit down, and if you have something to say, say it here— in front of everyone.”

‘She isn’t in the mood.’ That’s the conclusion August had in mind. ‘Maybe this problem took a toll on the marketing department as well.’

August felt amused and afraid at the same time. Sapphire’s voice was authoritative to the point that Katie couldn’t do anything but went back onto her seat, and bit her lower lip.

‘This adopted bitch!’ Katie clenched her fists under the table.

She composed herself to think about something, but she couldn’t have any ideas since she wasn’t the one who was generating ideas about her submitted proposals in the first place.

Katie’s eyes flickered on the room. Everyone was also trying to think of a solution, but she knew that everyone was waiting for her to speak.

It’s because she’s the project manager of the strategy departme
