Jamari’s POV“What aren’t you telling me?” My eyes move from one King to the next, suspicion in their depths. “It’s nothing.” Kenji says, running his fingers through his hair.“We need to prepare for the spell so we can find the key to releasing Remiel from my father’s prison.” Levi says, avoiding my eyes. Kenji’s POV “Maybe Damballa can finish telling us the story of his Realm while we wait.” Now that I know that Jamari has awakened I can finally relax for a moment. I plop myself on one of the dainty chairs that Levi chose to decorate our living room with, letting out a relieved sigh. The tension in my muscles begin to leave as I let myself sink deeper into the tiny chair. “You were able to hear Damballa as he spoke to me?” Levi takes his seat on the couch, elbows resting on his knees as he leans forward, surprise written in his features. My brows furrow at his question. Was I not supposed to hear the Demon speaking to Levi? Running my fingers through my hair, I pull one of my long legs over the other, searching for comfort in this Goddess awful chair. What was Levi thinking when he bought this monstrosity? “I heard the whole conversation clear as if you were both speaking out loud.” I tell him, shifting in my seat. “I thought Demons didn’t have a second identity like wolves.” I

Levi’s POVDamballa’s story about a Realm for the witches and his deal with the Ruler of Purgatory has created more questions that need answering. My mind is still reeling from the fact that our demons are separate beings that live within us just like the wolves. And those beings are former living creatures? This is all too much to take in. ‘Is that how all those in the Demon Realm get their Demons? Levi’s POVAll of the pieces of the puzzle are finally fitting into place and making sense. Why else would my mother try to unlock the Fae Realm for thousands of years? She must be trying to release her people from their imprisonment. It would explain a lot about me and the powers that I have that are uncommon in Demons. But how has she kept this a secret from everyone for so long? She was with God for a century and then with my father for longer than that. How could she hide her true identity from him and all of his subjects?
