Chapter 123- Where Did They Go?

Kenji’s POV

Jamari reaches over and grabs Levi’s outstretched hands. A rush of power moves from Levi, into Jamari, and then back into Levi as their hands connect. Leaning forward to get a better view, I watch as Jamari’s eyes close.

Within moments, Jamari’s breathing becomes erratic, her chest moving up and down in fast movements. Reaching out I place my hand over Jamari and Levi’s joined hands in the hopes of soothing Jamari’s frantic emotions.

The tension in Jamari’s body begins to slowly ease away, her breathing becoming less erratic before leveling out to normal. Leaning back in my spot, I watch her closely as I wait for her to do whatever it is that they are up to.
