Chapter 35- The Deal Is Off

Kenji’s POV

“Kenji.”

“Kenji..Hello…are you listening.” I look up and see Beta Yuriko waving her hands in my face. “There you are.” She says, sitting back in her seat. “You really should just go back to the states, Kenji.”

I lean back in my seat and sigh. Before I can respond to Yuriko, the smell of fire and brimstone fills the room as that damn Demon King appears. “What are you doing here, demon?” I growl at him.

“Nice to see you too mutt.” He smiles at me brightly, pissing me off more. Which I’m sure was his intention. I put my hands together on my desk, waiting for him to answer my question. “You’re no fun!” He says, seating himself in the open chair beside Yuriko.

I smack his feet off of my desk when he leans back and places them criss-cross on top. He lets out a chuckle at the action. “Don’t make yourself at home, demon. Tell me what you want and then leave.” I run my fingers through my hair, quickly losing patience with the mate stealing demon.

He pouts before sitting up
