“We shouldn’t have let them go alone just like that!” Adaline exclaimed. “They will be outnumbered. What if they get hurt?” It was easy to forget what Luke was and what he could do.

“Dear, you know we can’t go there. Nebraska is too far for anything but flying, and it’s still daylight. Luke couldn’t take us with him as he can only ‘transport’ his own soulmate. I don’t like it any more than you, but we have to trust him on this… I believe he will protect Sarah.”
