As his weight hits me my mind dissipates, going back to my old house in my own room, my eyes watch the dust particles fall around me as the weight of my father pushes down on my back.

I was wolfless, defensless and I had learned that fighting had only gotten me hurt worse, yet watching the dust fall around me kept my mind from the reality around me.

“Come on lilly, you can do this”

Fionas voice hits me but my mind rejects it almost immediately, it was like I couldn’t even hear her or maybe I could hear her but I couldn’t understand her.

Instead my eyes focused on the dust, just the dust.

“Baby you have got this”

Drakes voice hits me through mindlink, kicking the memory to the side and pulling me free of my nightmares.

Coming back to reality I realise I couldn’t breathe right, the weight of Ben was much heavier than I remembered, or maybe it was because I felt like he was forcing my lungs closed in my chest with the way he pushed on my back.
