Drakes POV

I leap of the chair so fast I almost fall on my face as I land on the ground beside Lilly, had she not been through enough? What the hell was wrong with her? I look to Caron who seemed shocked on the spot

“I thought you said that crap would help her”

She nods rushing over as I pull Lilly onto my knee and I cradle her head in my arms

“It did, did you say she got hurt?”

She asks, I nod pulling up her shirt and freeze. Her side and stomach was dark red, it was swollen and I could physically see the rash spread across her stomach

“Shit, it’s infected. Hospital NOW”

She shouts as I scoop her up confused

“How?”

I ask running after carron and I run straight towards the entrance to the hospital

“She missed some debris and healed herself, the rapid healing made the infection spread faster”

My heart races, I couldn’t take much more of this, I couldn’t lose her and I was about to quit being alpha and run off to an abandoned islan
