Chapter 34.1

I was glancing at the menu, but my attention was elsewhere. Because of how self-conscious I was, I couldn't even read the names of the dishes.

Caesar was entirely to blame for this.

He has been paying more attention to me since yesterday. Wherever I go, he goes, and whatever I do, he is always there to watch me, to the point that he seems like a creepy stalker. During dinner, he was so attentive to me that one could mistake him for my personal butler, or worse, my nanny.

We haven't spoken about our conversation in the garden, though I'm sure he already knows I was aware of his love for me.

I was honestly waiting for him to speak those words so I could reject him.

Although I can tell he has affection for me, hearing it from him personally is more preferable.

I don't want to come across as presuming things, even though it was apparent as day that he was in love with me, especially given how he acted towards me after what happened at the garden.
