                I’d hoped that I would’ve known something by now, but it’d only been a day. It was expecting too much that she would come running to my rescue immediately upon learning of my situation. Then again, she didn’t actually know me and might not feel I was worth the risk. Still, standing out here under the stars, I couldn’t help but hope.
