“I guess I am in,” Marcus announces in delight and I just want to punch him on the face. What kind of a business man does not even try to negotiate rates with the bank. The bank is absolutely gorgeous in this case, but dude, please!

Niki does not get all excited like an amateur. She maintains the same demeanour. My first assessment of her was wrong, she has done this a lot of times before. She is a pro. Her next words are calculated and intentional. “I have not heard why we should be associating ourselves with you, Marcus.”

She is sizing Marcus up and he has no clue. This woman is damn good. I wonder if she’s ever lost on any deal. I look at Marcus, curious to hear his pitch and dude has nothing.

“Because you have already come all the way from Lilly town to meet me,” he says, with a grin. Really, Dude? That’s the best you can come up with? Now I’m pissed with him for the whole men tribe.
