CHAPTER IV: Tracing the CULPRIT

Samantha could not get her thoughts off the scene. Her senses curiously linger on the tragic ending of one of her colleagues. No, not just one ordinary acquaintance—but a person who had something to do with her past. That man, whose mortal flesh is pitifully quenched with blood, was the only person who witnessed her parents’ mysterious disappearance. But to some unknown reasons, he never spoke about nor admitted it.

She was 15 back then, but is certain that she had seen this man disputing against her dad that night. The words were clear, “they can’t be stopped. We need to get them off!
