The trees flew past me as my paws barely touched the ground as I ran. I don’t know why I got angry with Mel. What she said was true. My wolf was begging to go back to her. I knew she was crying when I left; I could smell her tears.

I have let my wolf run for about an hour, he agreed to let me cool off, but only for an hour. His need to be near her is overwhelming; maybe I put too much into the bond between Mel and I.
