Forty-Two: Sloane

I hurried out of bed, my hands up with my palms facing my siblings as they glared at me. If there was ever a time to be nervous, this was it. Ethan was the least of my worries right now.

"Listen," I started, but Aiden stepped forward, grabbing his hair and pacing back and forth. Never before had I seen him so stressed, but I was also really curious about what happened. Every few paces, my little brother would stop to glare at me. "It's not as bad as it sounds."

"How could it not be as bad as it sounds, Sloane? How?! You could be starting a war right now! Hell, if anyone found out, the war would be the least of your issues because you would be exiled!" Aiden whispered aggressively.

"I'm confused, when did this start?" Ellie asked from my bed as she pushed the pillow between her and the headboard to lean back on it.

"It's only been a week!"

"You're risking everything over a man you've only known for a week?" Aiden exclaimed with exasperation.

I would like to call Ethan a Douche Canoe because a douche bag isn’t big enough for my hatred for him. Greyson needs to be notified that Ethan is becoming a bigger problem.
