KRISTINA'S POV

Well, let them worry. I'm fine. I won't be going anywhere 'till I figure out what's happening with all these people, so they better not call me or try to contact me by any means possible. I don't want any trouble. If they send someone looking for me after I leave the house, then they're gonna get an unexpected surprise. But I'll have to deal with it, eventually.

I just wish I knew why I've been summoned here. That's what I'm most curious about, actually. And, as the saying goes, one should never turn your nose up at a bargain when presented with a golden opportunity such as this.
