Nathan notices it, his smile widening. "What's wrong? What have you done to yourself?" He questions me, sounding worried now as he sees the color draining from my face. I'm having trouble catching my breath and my heartbeat speeds up. "N-nothing…" I say shakily. My voice sounds faint to me, almost robotic. Then suddenly I collapse onto the floor, unable to breathe properly. Nathan catches me and lowers me gently down. I close my eyes and focus on his touch. KRISTINA'S POVSlowly, I crawl backwards on the bed. I don't know why, but a chill creeps down my spine when I suddenly feel it's cold nose running along my neck. My eyes widen in horror. I can hear it sniffing me carefully. I'm starting to panic. My mind is flooded with thoughts and worries, but my heart is beating fast inside my chest. It's pounding against my ribcage uncontrollably. I'm shaking uncontrollably. It's so strange. Why would my heart suddenly start beating so violently? Why does it feel like there's someone holding onto my ribs tightly? Why does it feel like my lungs need more air? Why can't I breathe? Am I having a heart attack or something?
