Chapter 8 - All A Dream

I felt a painful sting in my eyes. My body ached all over and when I was finally able to wake myself, I found myself to be lying in a pool of sweat. It was dark in the room except for one dim light.

What?!

My brain was frozen as I looked around the unfamiliar room which was more of a cell than a room. Just one dingy bed that I was lying on and couldn’t muster up the energy to get up from right now. I felt like I’d run a friggin marathon, the way I was aching all over, from head to toe.

My head hurt so bad, it was hard to collect my thoughts and form one coherent mental picture or even collect myself to any extent.

I suddenly sat up when a sharp pain shot up through my right arm. I could see a small barely there red mark like that of an injection. Did they inject me with something?

Oh God?!

Is that why….. well, that would explain the cell like room.

But before that…. was that a dream?

It had to be. But it had felt real. So friggin real. But drugs could make you dream up some cr
