After a while I couldn't help but glance back and was met with a smirk from Timothy. He still wasn't my type but I could admit he was attractive, those blue eyes seemed to burn into me even with the distance between us but something made me feel uneasy about him. Maybe it was lack of dealing with other packs but a feeling of danger was brewing in my mind. The brush of my wolf against the barrier in my mind had me even more stir crazy, class couldn't end fast enough. I was looking forward to the bell and getting away from his gaze. "Rouge." Scarlet nudged me, the bell was ringing loudly; my eyes had been fixed on the door and I hadn't even noticed as peiple around me gathered their things to leave. "So he's the brother of the blonde?" She asked kinda waving towards Timothy. "Yeah, Timothy and Thomas; sons of Alpha Theodore. Do you rememeber a Alpha Theodore??" I reply gathering my stuff. "Nope but that's funny all their names start with T." she giggled follow me to our next class. I was thankful not to run into Duke again but the halls were buzzing with the news of the boys being in the school. Charlotte had made it known they were staying at the pack house and people were talking about how I attacked Duke but how could the wolfless girl take on Duke was the question that everyone asked. I just wanted to get through the next month. Rumors would eventually get borring right??
"Rouge." A voice I dreaded called my name as I walked into English class, I looked up to see Flint. If he wasn't such a ass he would be the closest to my type in this whole school but he was also the main reason I hated school. His shaggy long hair was pulled up into a man bun saying he was looking forward to sparring today. His hazel eyes met mine as I sat in my desk hoping whatever he was about to say wouldn't piss me off to much but as always that wasn't the case. "I heard you hit Duke for calling you a future pleasure slave." His cocky attiude always got my wolf pressing against the barrier and the fimliar pressure begain to build. Something about him made every part of me on edge but also angry. "You wish Flint, just like I told Duke it's the only way either of you would ever touch me." I replied glaring at him. "Oh no Rouge, I am still hoping Alpha James tosses you off pack land with nothing but the clothes on your back." He laughed looking down at me. "Oh really Flint, I'm supirsed knowing what I do about you, should I maybe tell everyone here about your Aunt who got tossed out of the pack?" I glared up at him feeling the barrier start to weaken. "Careful Rouge, I've heard if you don't graduate the Alpha will just toss you. Your not helpful to any pack without Alpha's James backing. You'll end up alone on the streets just like your filthy father." He leaned down into my face. I don't know what happened but suddenly I had enough and I grabbed his neck slamming his face into my desk. "Watch is Flint." I growled into his ear before releasing him. The look on his face told me I just fucked up, the whispers that irrupted around me told me I really really just messed up. I glanced at Scarlet and her smile told me that she was happy I put him in his place but man this was going make the rumors worse and I prayed wasn't going to result in me getting kicked out of school. I only had a month left. I mentally smacked myself for letting my temper get the best of me.
"He deserved it." I turned to meet the eyes of a stranger, my breath caught in my throat, this defiently wasn't a student and I knew his wasn't a member of the dark woods pack either. This man in front of me was covered in tattoos I could see the edges of them at the collar of his shirt and across his hands. His hair was pulled back exposing the sides of his head which were also decorated in tattoos, a thin scar ran down the side of his face, hazel green eyes met mine as I took in the form of his arms. "Um what do you mean?" I finally mumble. "That boy deservered more then just a face full of desk." His eyes glimmed with something I had never seen before and man did I want to find out what that look ment but I seemed to forget had to speak in his presence. "You won't get kicked out for that Rouge, I'll make sure they knew he egged you on." He smiled at me and walked off. I'll admit I watched him walk away, I had never seen a man like that beside the movies.
Sorry this chapter is shorter. I wanted to be sure to pace the new intros but there is so many wolves I wan't yall to meet. I'm hoping the next chapter will be longer.
"Who was that?" Scarlet squeals after rushing to my side. "I'm not sure but dam he was hot." I sighed. "So many new people around here lately. It's so weird since Alpha rarely lets other packs onto our land." I catch Scarlet watching where the stranger left. I nod before she has to run back to her seat because our teacher finally walked in. "Mrs. Mei, Rouge attacked me!" Flint took no time to start trying to get me into trouble. "Oh Mr. Flint I was informed of the incident, you may go see the nurse then the princiable is expecting you." Mrs. Mei replied, I swear I saw a glint of her wolf in her eyes as she looked at Flint clearly upset about what she was told. "SHE ATTACKED ME!" Flint yelled. "FLINT OFFICE NOW!!" Mrs. Mei yelled clearly loosing her temper with his lies. I was shocked to see him slump his shoulders and leave, although muttering to himself. "Now class as you know we have some new faces around campus, that is not a reason to look our minds. We will not be provocking each
"Rouge." I heard a voice trying to get my attention but everything felt numb, the voice sounded muffled like I was underwater. Suddenly a pair of hands were on my shoulders shaking me softly. "You can't shift here my dear we need to get you out of the school." A husky voice I semi felt was familar was whispering into my ear, his hot breath against my skin. "I don't have a wolf." I mumbled not understanding why he was thinking I was about to shift. "Sure darlin but you still need to get out of here." His husky voice still sounded so distant and I couldn't place it. "Scarlet tell her next teacher she'll be in the nurses office." I heard him till Scar before suddenly I wasn't in my desk but in his arms, everything felt weird and I knew I needed to focus but the desire to just close my eyes was so tempting. I felt weirdly safe at the moment a safety I hadn't felt in years if ever. I could feel that he was walking but I didn't question it. the pressure from the barrier was worst then it eve
"Wayne, how can you say I won't get in trouble for this?" I asked. "Simple your Alpha doesn't want to upset my pack and if he punishes you for being with me he will cause issues with my pack and yours. I'll contact him later and explain that you felt unwell and I took you off school grounds so you could relax without all that teenage drama going on and I could make sure your okay." He replied as if it explained everything but I figured it was the best answer I would get so didn't push to much. Something about him told me he might be quick to anger and as sexy as he was I didn't want to push my luck. I got up pulling myself from his arms as much as I enjoyed the feeling of being wrapped in them I knew I couldn't get attached to him so quick, I might never see him again after my birthday. "So what pack are you from?" I asked as I stretched out my body. "I'm from the blue moon pack." He replied calmly and I looked at him curiously. Not much was known about the blue moon pack other then t
"Not today." A voice I couldn't place whispered in the darkness and suddenly I was laying on the floor with Scarlet kneeling next to me crying. My body hurt but the barrier was still in place but I could tell it was much weaker then it was before. "Scarlet I'm okay." I whispered trying not to startle her but she still jumped a little. "Rouge, oh my goddess I thought you were going to shift. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't get the alpha like I normally would if it was someone else and I couldn't risk mind linking my mom and him finding out." She sounded so sad. "Scarlet, one if I shifted with you this close to me I could have hurt you or worse. Two I don't know how I didn't shift, I could sense my wolf; it was about to break free but then I heard someone and it stopped and I'm guessing I never shifted but the voice seemed to calm my wolf in a instint." I told her, starting to sit up but she reached out and laid her hand on me nodding no. I looked at her but didn't question it as sh
I don't know how I ended up in bed but I woke to my alarm ringing on my nightstand. The memory of the night before quickly flodded my mind. Almost shifting at Scarelt's and the incident at the diner. Meeting the guard from the blue moon pack and her driving me home was the last thing I remembered but I had no memory of getting home yet alone getting into bed. I rubb my eyes and notice a note on my nightstand. I'll see you later Rouge, Wayne asked me to keep a eye on you when I can so you'll be seeing a lot of me in the coming days. - Clarissa. The green ink was the same as the one from my window wipers but the writing was different but a blue rose was now laying on my nightstand and I was starting to wonder if they were from Wayne but why would he be leaving me roses I wondered. I yawned stretching, the wounds from a few days before had faded already but sometimes they felt like they were still on my chest and I grazed my hands across the skin that barely even felt different now still
Finishing my meal I looked at Wayne to see him begin to get up. "Let's get you back before someone begins to wonder where you are." He reached his hand out to help me off the ground. I couldn't help but notice he lifted me from my place with ease as if I was as light as a feather. "I doubt they would even think of me for days if I went missing if this was a typical week but being as the Luna requested me home after school that would be for the best." He looked at me with confusion clear on his face, "You are under their care how could it be that you think that Rouge?" he asked. "I might be under their care but I haven't been of importance since their children were born and I was allowed to be rejected as a heir. Since then my basic needs have been met but I might as well been a stranger within their home. I imagine that I won't hear from any of them once I leave the pack and to be completly honest I'm okay with that as long as I can still talk to Scarlet and her family, they have been
Exactly an hour later the Luna returned to see what we had accomplished in making me presentable to the packs, I was surprised when she didn’t fuss over the fact I was wearing a skin tight emerald green dress that fell just above my knee. Clarissa had done great curling my long hair and putting it into a nice updo that was simple but elegant, the makeup she applied was far more complex than anything I would have attempted on myself but I liked the smoky eye and eye liner she did. I still looked like m which I was thankful for, I had seen some of the styles Charlotte had done which was full face glam resulting in her actual facial structure to look different. “I wish you would have used a lighter shade of lipstick but I guess this will do.” The Luna looked at me with a slight look of approval. I knew she wanted me gone and I guess she didn’t care for the reason behind a pack wanting me to joint them, so a dress that would have normally resulted in cruel remarks of how I looked easy didn

The event is completly fictional but your mental health is important please reach out to someone if this causes your distress.***Three days before my birthday and for the first time in many years I woke feeling calm and happy. Wayne and Clarissa had introduced me to a few other members of the pack the night before and had kept me away from the Blood Moon Pack for the rest of the evening, I noticed the alpha’s grandson had kept his eyes on me most of the night but Wayne always blocked his path if he attempted to walk towards us. I was surprised the hours had passed so quickly but suddenly Alpha James was having everyone leave for the night and although Clarissa said she wanted to stay Luna Cathy told her she had to leave as well. The uneasy feeling creped in about an hour later, a feeling that someone was watching me but the scent of sandalwood and amber filled my nose and the feeling passed as I drifted o
