Chapter 27

~REX’S POV~

Reina has me perplexed as to what to think of her. I’m desperately trying to figure out what’s wrong with her. I got a text message from one of the two men I had hired to follow her around campus. Today, she was apparently followed by two males and two new students, who made her feel uneasy. I will not ask her because I do not want her to lose faith in me. I’ll simply continue doing what I’m doing. When I entered our chamber, I noticed she was asleep, but I could feel her sobbing.

“Are you all OK, my love?” I obtained a text message from her.

“Yes, I’m alright, just a little depressed.” At the very least, she is candid.
