I should be happy that I got a free tour without spending a penny. It’s a beautiful place. Jonas told me some of the history. Interestingly, during World War II, the villa was used as a hiding place for some wealthy Japanese families who were trying to save themselves from the backlash of Americans.

He told me his grandfather bought it when he came to USA. Originally, they lived here before moving to a bigger city where he founded Josef constructions. The same company for which I did that laborious and soul-sucking data entry work from dust eating files.

I was stunned by how marvelous everything was. Furniture and art pieces made of polished wood and glass. Each room has a balcony overlooking the lake beach. This place has a pool and hot tub too. As if the lake in front wasn’t enough.

Once we settled into our rooms, I explored the Villa and property around it with Jessica. There is a cemetery nearby. I sat near a tombstone with Jessie for a while. I would
