What is essential is invisible to the eye.

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was white.

I lift myself up with my elbow slightly. Looking around, my eyes automatically squint from the brightness of everything. I was in a room that had nothing but a few brown filing cabinets, the red velvet chaise I was lying on, and a brown leather egg chair with a small tea table beside it. Looking closely, I notice some papers and a few folders plus a lone black pen on it. Groaning, I lie flat on my back again, and the brightness was just hurting my eyes at this point.
